I just ordered this UNI airfilter for my SMC, uses stock or modified lid(from the way I have seen most of you moding your lids). I will post pics and noticeable gains if any, when I get it 1st of next week. KTM Twins has the filter.

Customer Review: Just what my wife was looking for
Initially purchased a different fan (Vornado 540B High-Velocity Personal Clip-On 2-Speed Air Circulator) to try to have something bedside for my wife, but was not satisfied. This product, however, was just the right size and intensity for her intended use.

When we first received this item, the motor wouldn’t turn because the “cage” was dragging on the side of the blower housing. After disassembly, it was discovered that the cage is unsquare to the axle, and it wobbles about 3/8 - 1/2″ from one side to another. I repositioned the cage on the shaft, and the unit runs good with some vibration. It is unknown whether this was a factory defect, or if it was damaged during shipping. I contacted JDS and they sent a new, balanced cage & an extra filter without any problems. Summary: You won’t get stuck with a “lemon” with the JDS, so I’d recommend it for purchase.
Customer Review: Works well for me
I bought this JDS air filter several years ago. I have been pleased with it except for one small thing. The receiver for the remote is one one side and often does not reliable receiver the signal from the remote. Since I have a metal garage door, I’ve discovered I can usually bounce the signal off the metal door and get it to work. If the batteries are low in the remote are low, it it often won’t work. Replacing the batteries alleviates the problem.

Customer Review: Disappointing humidifier
The one I had left puddles of water on the floor when running. When the tank had to be removed for filling, it was not possible to remove it without dripping water on the floor. Tank was also quite small and had to be filled more than twice a day to humidify a small room. All in all didn’t work right, and I returned it. Got a Venta warm air humidifier with electronic switches and indicators from another vendor which I am quite happy with. For some reason the price from Amazon for the Venta humidifier is much higher than it was elsewhere, and I fail to understand why Amazon quote such a high price to begin with—quite a contrast from their normal low prices.
Customer Review: My family now sleeps better
This is the second humidifier our family has tried and it is a whole new world for my wife and daughter. Both of them suffer from upper respiratory allergies, and the nasal passage dryness that accompanies decongestant medications is exacerbated by the low humidity where we live. The first humidifier we used was a Hunter model #33201; it was a glorified fan. Even the maximum setting made no difference in our comfort.
